Gray Squid Plate

This sturdy stoneware plate would be the perfect size for hors d’oeuvres or for serving lemon wedges with a seafood meal.  It could be an ocean-themed trinket dish, or even be displayed upright on a stand, as a unique little art piece.  The charming gray and ochre squid has a character all his own.  Beach vibes!

This functional, food safe plate was created on a potter’s wheel by Terry Parker.  It was decorated by Michelle Lichter, using underglazes, tiny paintbrushes, wax resist, and dipping in a lovely satin glaze.
