Stoneware Planter with Carved Flower Design

This 5" planter with its matching plate is ideal for a small to medium house or garden plant. Numerous (5) drainage holes are cut into the bottom of the pot that is raised above the plate to keep your plant out of the water that collects in the plate. The foot of the pot is notched where it sits in the plate to allow air to circulate beneath the pot. This pot is sized so that a standard 4" plastic pot will fit inside if you wish to use one.

The flower blossom design is carved into a matte finish blue green surface of the planter. A glossy grey green glaze accents the top and bottom and is used on the interior of the pot as well.

Terry Parker is the artist behind Loma Prieta Pottery. Every piece of pottery is created by hand with great attention paid to detail to make each piece of pottery function well and be enjoyable for you to use.

Each piece is created on a potter's wheel or hand built out of stoneware or porcelain. It is high fired in a gas kiln to 2340°F.
